Hopvid makes and edits still images as well as video. Text to Image creates a new picture from a description; Image Edit changes an existing one, such as an outfit, a background or a product shot, while keeping what you want to keep.

How it works

  1. Choose create or edit

    Use Text to Image for a new picture, or Image Edit to change one you upload.

  2. Describe what you want

    Name the subject, setting, light and style. For an edit, say what should change and what should stay the same.

  3. Pick a model and quality

    Review the credit quote for the model, format and quality, generate, then download the image from My creations.

Write a prompt the model can follow

Lead with the subject, then add the setting, lighting, camera angle and style. Put any words that should appear in the picture in quotes. One clear idea per image is easier to judge and refine than a long list.

Edit without starting over

Image Edit takes your picture plus up to two references, such as a product or a style example. Ask for one change at a time, and name what must stay, for example the face, the pose or the logo.

Choose the model for the job

Ideogram is a strong choice for posters and lettering, Nano Banana and GPT Image follow detailed instructions well, and Qwen Image is the low-cost option for drafts. The AI models page compares each one.

Is Hopvid free to use?

Hopvid is a paid AI video studio. There is no free tier or trial. Choose a monthly plan or a one-time credit pack, and review the credit quote before generating.

Where are my uploads and finished videos saved?

Signed-in uploads are saved to your private library before generation and remain available for 10 days. Finished videos and images remain in My creations for 10 days after completion. Download anything you want to keep.
