Your photo, one frame later.

To animate a photo with AI, upload it to Image to Video and describe the motion you want. The model treats your image as the first frame and continues the scene, so a clear image and a focused instruction give you the most control.

How it works

  1. Choose the photo

Pick a sharp, well-lit image whose shape matches the video format you want.

  2. Describe the motion

Say what moves and how the camera behaves, for example a slow push in while her coat moves in the wind.

  3. Pick a model and generate

Choose a model, quality, length and sound, review the credit quote and download the result from My creations.

1. Start with a clear image

The model continues from your image, so lighting, framing and subject are already decided. Avoid heavy blur, tiny subjects and cluttered edges. Use a vertical image for a vertical video.

2. Describe one movement

Name a single action and a camera direction rather than a whole story. Subtle motion, such as hair in the wind, a turn of the head or drifting clouds, tends to look the most natural.

3. Draft cheaply, then finish

Lower qualities and shorter clips cost fewer credits. Test the motion first, then generate the final version at a higher quality. Some models can also add sound or use an end frame.

4. Save a local copy

Download your finished video from My creations within 10 days of completion. Keep your original photo so you can reuse it after its upload storage period ends.
